Le Galago - So High

After my post about The Sheepdogs last Tuesday, I wanted to find some similar music on Jamendo.  Unfortunately there is no such thing as a "classic rock" tag on Jamendo.  I was slightly disappointed that I had to go with the all-encompassing "Rock" tag.  But I remained hopeful, and what I found was Le Galago.

Le Galago - aka Christophe Marc - produces some pretty cool sounding indie rock.  I'm not 100% sure (his information isn't terribly clear), but I believe he is based in France and originally from Liverpool.  Either way, it seems that his current habitation details are only partially deserving of credit for influence on his music.  Well, as near as I can tell anyway - I couldn't find lyrics.

The album I found was called "So High", released sometime in 2009.  It's a fairly decent album, full of indie rock as I mentioned.  Some of it is laced with awesome drum beats - most notably the title track - and those are the songs that I liked a lot more than the rest.

Honestly I don't have very much to say about the album other than "I liked it", and you should give it a listen.  It's available over at Jamendo.com.
